Information - Suffolk Soul Singers – Community Choir

Suffolk Soul Singers are a community choir based in Ipswich, formed in 2009. Their repertoire spans soul, gospel, reggae, pop. All songs are specially arranged by local professional singer and musician Andi Hopgood, giving fresh twists to classics and introducing hidden gems.

Inclusive and accessible, the choir has no auditions and no need to read music—just enthusiasm and commitment to singing and learning.

A true community group, not a franchise, they never use backing tracks, performing everything live with passion and energy. Performing across Suffolk and beyond, they are known for spreading happiness through soulful, funky, and always live music.
