Information - Learn the Bid Up The Bid dance at Dance East’s Afrobahn Summer Session
Ipswich is bidding to be UK City of Culture in 2029. This is a huge opportunity for our town and a chance to celebrate everything that makes it so special.
We’ll champion our rich heritage and pioneering spirit, while imagining new possibilities, with young people at the heart of shaping plans and sparking change.
Whether you live, work, study or grew up here, there is a part for you to play.
Learn the dance moves to Big Up the Bid, the official anthem of the City of Culture Campaign by Voodoo and Praise B. Dancer Rosy May and Praise B are leading this dance workshop as part of Dance East’s Afrobahn Summer Sessions. Drop in. Free admission
