Information - EmpowerUS: What’s the worst that could happen? Building confidence in public speaking

Join Amy Wragg from SoapBox Spoken Word CIC for an afternoon event on building confidence & public speaking. Part-lecture, part-workshop, this session will invite you to explore how you can overcome your nerves & arm you with techniques to embrace public speaking. The last 45mins will be a special SoapBox spoken word open mic session. Read a favourite poem or some song lyrics, talk about your latest project, share your passion, or an original piece of writing with a supportive & friendly audience. 5mins per person. All words welcome.

This session will be held in Atrium Building Lecture Theatre A0.01.
