Welcome to the Ipswich Institute!
Members and non-members are welcome to join us for these sessions
A concentrated day of observational drawing, making and sharing work within a supportive group and studio atmosphere. Suitable for all who are willing to try something new and who would enjoy developing different approaches to their drawing. From 11am to 12.30 we will be developing our drawing skills by exploring different techniques and materials (please bring a recent printed photo of/including your face.
From 1.30pm to 3.30 pm will be a drawing session with a male model. We will further develop our technique and approaches to observation, and explore how we represent dynamic movement, stillness and the effects of light on the body. All materials and paper, easels and drawing board provided.
