Information - Big Country & Evan Peter’s The Alarm
Get ready for an absolutely unforgettable night of rock history right here in Ipswich! We are thrilled to share that the legendary Scottish rock band Big Country is heading to town, joined by The Alarm (presented by Evan Peters) for ‘The Seer’ 40th Anniversary Tour.
This is set to be a spectacular evening of powerful live music in one of our town’s most unique spaces. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or looking for an amazing night out, this is a gig you won’t want to miss.
A Very Special Tour with Deep Meaning
This tour is incredibly special. It honours the moving meetings between Big Country’s Bruce Watson and Mike Peters, which took place just a few months after Mike’s tragic diagnosis with Richter’s Syndrome in April 2024.
As the band shared: “Mike will be forever by our sides at every concert on this tour. We look forward to seeing you down the road, honouring and celebrating the spirit of Mike Peters.” It promises to be an emotional, uplifting, and beautifully spirited celebration of great music and resilience.
The Legendary Big Country
As one of Scotland’s most iconic rock bands, Big Country has been captivating audiences worldwide since the 1980s. Known for their massive, anthemic sound, they brilliantly fuse post-punk and new wave with traditional Scottish folk influences.
Ahead of this tour, Big Country is embarking on a massive world tour across the USA, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe. Ipswich music lovers will get to experience them playing their greatest classic hits, alongside brilliant new tracks from their highly anticipated upcoming album, Eastworld.
