Information - Wet Wet Wet

Celebrate 40 Years of Hits with Wet Wet Wet at the Regent Theatre!

We have some incredibly exciting news for music lovers here in Ipswich! The legendary Wet Wet Wet are coming to town as part of a massive UK tour, and they’ll be taking over the stage at our very own Regent Theatre.

This isn’t just any concert; it’s a huge celebration of the 40th anniversary of their iconic debut album, Popped In Souled Out. If you remember when that record first hit the airwaves, you’ll know it was the start of something truly special, launching one of the most successful pop careers in British history.

A Night of Nostalgia and Pure Pop Magic

The band will be performing the very best of Popped In Souled Out, alongside a whole catalogue of beloved hits from across their remarkable career. It’s a wonderful chance to celebrate where it all began while enjoying the songs that have soundtracked our lives for four decades.

Today’s lineup features founding member Graeme Clark and long-standing guitarist Graeme Duffin, joined by the incredible lead vocalist Kevin Simm. Together, they bring a fresh energy to these classic tracks, making sure they sound just as good today as they did when we first heard them on the radio.

A Message from the Band

Founding member Graeme Clark is just as excited as we are to get back on the road. Reflecting on the tour, he said:

“When we made Popped In Souled Out, I was just a young guy. Forty years later, those songs have taken on a life of their own, and this tour is about celebrating where it all began without forgetting what followed. It’ll feel like stepping back into those original PISO shoes – only now with a lifetime of experience and with an audience who’ve been with us through every twist and turn.”
