Information - The Gray Project
The Gray Project is a 10 piece jazz funk and soul band from East Anglia who take their name from founder and drummer Bill Gray. Their sole objective is to fill the floor with hip urban grooves, appealing to head, heart & feet.
They’re no tribute band, but a cool collective paying homage to the golden age of soulful, sassy, jazz-funk. TGP play those songs which have been lost but not forgotten, featuring rare gems and lesser-known grooves.
Think Average White Band, Tower Of Power and Quincy Jones and you won’t be far off the mark.
