Information - Eastern Angles Summer Holiday Club

Holiday Club returns to the Eastern Angles Centre for the fourth year running! This free summer programme includes a variety of activites to get young people moving, creating and having fun this summer.

Due to popular demand we’re running two Holiday Club programmes in Ipswich:  Monday 29th July – Friday 9th August OR Monday 12th August – Friday 23rd August. 


The programme will be split into the following themes, where your young person will work with new and exciting artists each week:

Week 1: Moving, Making & Mindfulness

Monday 29th July – Thursday 1st August OR Monday 12th – Thursday 15th August

Week one will focus on a wide array of activities which promote healthy mental and physical well-being. The group will take part in dance, music, sports, arts & crafts, gardening and mindfulness workshops.

Week 2: Let’s Create!

Monday 5th – Friday 9th August OR Monday 19th – Friday 23rd August

The second week will focus on theatre and creativity. The young people will work with professional theatre-makers to co-create their own play in a week which will be performed to family and friends in our Sir John Mills Theatre on the final Friday!

 


Important details:

Each days runs from 10am-3pm, lunch and snacks will be provided.

Places are open to young people aged 7-14, we will prioritise those who are eligible for free school meals and living in the Westgate Ward of Ipswich. If you’re not eligible for free school meals but are interested in attending Holiday Club please do still get in touch.
